Silvia was born and raised in Orange County, CA. She came down to San Diego for graduate school, fell in love with the area and never left. She has been volunteering for various organizations, such as the Ronald McDonald House, Community Animal Network, and her local libraries since she was 14 years old. Silvia graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelors in Sociology with a Minor in Business. While attending UC Riverside, her passion for giving back to her community led her to becoming a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed fraternity based on the principles of leadership, friendship and service. She still retains ties to multiple chapters of Alpha Phi Omega in Riverside, San Diego and Orange County. Silvia was invited to be on the Board of Directors after volunteering at and helping coordinate multiple charitable events for Include Autism.
When not working or volunteering, you can usually find Silvia at a local brewery, a farmers’ market or trying out a new recipe in her kitchen. She also loves to paint and homebrew.
Little Known Fact about Silvia: She has a background in the automotive industry and loves cars. She’s co-owns a classic Mercedes with her father and is currently in the process of rebuilding her ’91 Suzuki motorcycle.
